Personality[]

Hayate's most dominant traits are being a loner, being very calm collective, and intelligent, and possess a colder, more serious, and aloof attitude. Unlike Luffy, Hayate tends to be logically, metholical and careful when dealing with various situations and is much more levelheaded, less carefree and reckless than Luffy and would mostly prefers to avoiding people's affair. Hayate would often be a voice of words to Luffy as he often stop Luffy from taking reckless action that would put Luffy and entire crew in danger or if they had other priorities at the moment. Hayate mostly presents himself as a calm and collected person, is usually a serious, calm, and clear-minded person. He rarely shows any signs of distress or anger as he shown to remain calm, maintaining his composure in most situations and shows mostly a slight reaction toward the worst dangerous or bizarre situation except for antics of his crewmates. As such, he is much more careful, cautious, and intelligent than Luffy though he is often annoyed by Luffy's behavior and recklessness. He is unable to bear Luffy's silliness antic or the other crewmate's behavior and occasionally loses his temper.

Hayate's intelligence, methodical nature, and perspective are key attributes that shape his character. Having overcome various challenges during his childhood, he has developed into a focused individual being solved the problem at hand. He pays great attention to detail and is adept at improvising in high-pressure situations, displaying a remarkable level of composure and courage. His ability to remain calm and composed allows him to accurately assess life-threatening or dangerous situations. This enables him to notice crucial details that others might overlook, facilitating the formulation of appropriate strategies and actions. Hayate's keen observations also extend to understanding people's weaknesses, flaws, or hidden motivations. He is not easily deceived and can often see through others' intentions, making him a valuable asset in the crew.

Hayate's wisdom is evident in his advice to his crewmates. He cautions Luffy against generalizing all pirates based on his own actions, recognizing the complexity and diversity of individuals among pirates. Similarly, he advises Nami to exercise caution when involving herself with Vivi, urging her to consider the bigger picture and the potential risks involved. Moreover, Hayate possesses a realistic outlook on abilities, particularly those related to Logia Devil Fruits. He understands that possessing such a power does not make one invincible and warns against overconfidence. He believes that those who underestimate their opponents due to their Logia abilities will ultimately face a swift downfall. Overall, Hayate's intelligence, perceptiveness, and level-headedness contribute greatly to the success and safety of the Straw Hat crew. His ability to analyze situations and understand people's motivations make him a valuable member of the crew.

Hayate's cautious nature when it comes to trusting others is a significant contrast to Luffy's more open and trusting personality. Due to his past experiences and the ordeals he has faced, Hayate understands the importance of being cautious and maintaining a certain level of distance with strangers. He doesn't easily trust people and takes his time to assess their intentions and motives. An example of this cautious approach is seen in his suspicion towards Charlotte Pudding, who is connected to the notorious Big Mom. Hayate is wary of her and doesn't trust her right away. He senses that there might be more to her than meets the eye, and his suspicions are proven correct when she reveals her true intentions and betrays them.

Hayate's cautious nature also extends to his observations about Vinsmoke Judge, Sanji's father. He points out the flaws in Judge's decision-making and actions, indicating that Judge fails to see his own mistakes. This highlights Hayate's ability to analyze people and situations, allowing him to make informed judgments.

Despite his cautious nature, Hayate possesses an incredible resolve and determination. When he learns about Arlong's abuse towards Nami and the suffering she endured, Hayate immediately takes action. He fights and defeats Arlong, ensuring Nami's freedom and destroying the room where she was forced to draw maps for Arlong. This showcases Hayate's unwavering determination to protect and stand up for those he cares about. Hayate's kindness is also a notable aspect of his character. His warm-hearted nature resonates with people, attracting their attention and forming connections with them. This kindness, along with his other qualities, makes him a compelling and respected individual.

Hayate, despite his demeanor, possessed an innate kindness that resonated through his actions. He displayed a genuine concern for the well-being of his crewmates, willing to forgo something of trivial importance if it meant preserving their lives. He harbored a strong aversion towards witnessing needless suffering, firmly believing that no one should endure pain without just cause. His devotion to this principle extended to the extent that he couldn't bear to abandon those in distress, firmly denying anyone the right to inflict unwarranted suffering upon them. Hayate's astute intuition allowed him to adeptly evaluate the character of individuals, effortlessly distinguishing between those who were virtuous and those who were not. He possessed a remarkable ability to comprehend the true nature and motivations of people, leading him to make decisions guided solely by his own discernment rather than their reputation or associations with dangerous figures. This ability granted him the adaptability required to navigate complex situations, as he swiftly perceived the underlying reasons behind Robin's departure from the crew. He deduced that Robin's fears stemmed from a prospect of betrayal, leading her to consider sacrificing herself to the World Government to ensure their safety. Hayate's exceptional skill in discerning hidden virtues within others allowed him to uncover the positive qualities that others may have otherwise overlooked.

Although despite his collectiveness, however, Hayate is not above doing something reckless when it comes to people he cares about such as attacking a World Noble when they injury Hatchan and fully know the consequences. He would even break into Impel Down when he learns that his brother Lang was imprisoned there and is sentenced to execution. He even went to Marineford where all-powerful marine was station such as the Admirals just to save Lang from death and rather risks his safety than losing someone who he considers his family. Hayate is also righteous as he completely despises cruelty and wickedness. When he learned of Arlong's abusive emotional torment towards Nami, he was utterly enraged and wasted no time in destroying the room of maps that Arlong forced Nami to work in for years. When Hatchan was sadistically shot by Sheria and tried to shoot Hatchan again despite Hatchan's attempts to protect him. Hayate's anger reached its peak that he was perfectly content to invoke an Admiral's attack by struck Sherria with his sword without any mercy. Hayate's most defining part of his personality is the ability to make allies out of absolutely anyone (including former enemies, villains, and even Whitebeard himself), which he has along with Luffy, it is said by Mihawk to be the most dangerous ability in the world.

Hayate can also be extremely ruthless against toward his enemies as he easily intimidated most people very easily and threating others who would harms people he care about or cause people to suffer miserably and would attack them. Several example were where he brutally attack Samada for saying that Nami will serve under the Arlong Pirates for rest of her life. He also had uncontrollable bloodlust whenever someone attacks him or enrages him. Hayate would attack anyone who enrages him or hurt anyone. However, he can restrain himself when necessary and doesn't want to involve himself in needless bloodshed.

Hayate is normally show little interest or attraction to women similar to Luffy while he is capable of romance however whenever he displays attraction toward someone, he shows only to be attraction most to people who very close to and have much stronger willpower to resist charming or seduction such as being unaffected by Boa Hancock's beauty, although Hayate was immune to her beauty because he lacks lust and ill intention and also was innocent by nature. However, It is shown that love is quite a sensitive topic for Hayate. Although he doesn't show any romantic interest toward anybody, Hayate has showed himself to be romantically interested in Nami Yuri and Mimi, However, he has shown no interest in a girl that is much older than him such as Robin and Hancock an example where he rejects Hancock marriage proposal without a second thought. However due to his difficult childhood he tend to be cold and distant often push them away particular Mimi as he frequently get angry and upset with Mimi quite often, since he often have to put up with a lot of her shenanigan including the entire crew and eventually snap at her causing her run away crying but Hayate realize he was also at fault and went to apologize to her.

He can be extremely fluster and embarrassed when place around provocative situations such as seeing naked women can cause him to lose his composure which Robin comment that Hayate having an innocent side. Hayate also possess a moral sense regarding gender and can be quite annoyed by Nami and Mimi change clothes in front of everybody and by Mimi often walked around naked on deck. Hayate occasionally tends to be very blunt and direct and is not afraid to speak with his mind. Such as addressing the situation at hand and calmly asset the situation.

Hayate has a extremely immense eating habit due to one of Devil Fruit powers and often suppress them eating a large amount of food or a massive barrel of liquor. He occasionally eat casually even during most situation although this was only to suppress his Okami Okami no Mi.

Hayate, as a child, was very distant and much more of a loner than he is now, but this changed when he met Linh and opened up to her before he even realized it. This was due to the fact that he lost his uncle, which traumatized him when the Marines went after him. Hayate, like Ace and Lang, seemed to have lifelong problems dealing with his parentage. He is also a very emotional person and lets his emotions control him from time to time. The deaths of Joe, Linh, and Lang have greatly affected him, and he hardly ever listens to reason. He attacks Drayden in rage for vengeance. Much of his cold and distant personality stemmed from his childhood trauma of having grown up as the son of Gol D. Roger, and the World Government going after him due to his parentage. This had a huge effect on his personality and motives, making him very distant from others. Hayate often feels guilty for being responsible for Goku's severe injury six years ago. Due to Linh's death, he often distances himself from others and refuses to talk about anything related to himself. However, after spending time with Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates' crew for a long time, Hayate began to open up to them. He considered them as his family and was willing to do anything to protect them.

When Hayate fights, he usually tends to remain calm and analytical when fighting and possesses a very sharp intellect and has good observational skills, as seen from his ability to gauge his surroundings, noting both mundane and unusual things, people and actions. This allows him to quickly notice if something is not as it should be, as shown from how easily he can see through an opponent’s tricks. He uses his skills to stay one step ahead of his enemies. However, he becomes incredibly fierce and aggressive when being overwhelmed by forces. Sometimes, his fierceness is up to the point where he loses control of himself and would sometimes act recklessly regardless he is capable of analyzing every situation and act accordingly and understanding a enemies's Devil Fruits abilities strength, and weaknesses.

Hayate possesses excellent natural leadership. He has often does this in many serious and dangerous situations. Unlike others who held the initial D, Hayate does not, in particular, believe in fate. He also claims he does not have a dream in particular but willing to help those who had a dream of their own. However, he does share one of the most common traits of those who possess the initial D is not fearing death.

Relationship[]

Crew[]

At first, Hayate did not want to become a pirate but was forcefully pressured by Luffy into joining him and made multiple attempts to quit and leave the crew. However, when he received his first bounty, he ultimately gave up and accepted his new life as a pirate. Hayate normally prefers to avoid people's affairs, but he would occasionally meddle with people if he felt that his crewmates needed to meddle with them. He also considers the well-being of his crew.

When the crew proceeded to enter the Grand Line, Hayate admitted that he didn't have a dream or goal to accomplish. But now he has one and declared that he would ensure that he makes everyone's dreams come true, which completely touched the entire crew and made them smile.

Monkey D Luffy[]

Hayate's relationship with Luffy started off on a rocky note. Hayate was initially annoyed by Luffy's simple-mindedness, naivety, and reckless behavior. As the first mate of the crew, Hayate often found himself having to take on additional responsibilities and serve as a voice of reason to Luffy.

Despite having a rocky start when Luffy has effectively forces him to join his crew, and often get annoys dealing with Luffy's shenanigan, They have a very closes relationship with each other that is similar to a captain and first mate.

However, despite their differences, Hayate and Luffy developed a strong bond over time. Hayate recognized Luffy's potential and his unwavering determination to become the King of the Pirates. He saw the qualities in Luffy that made him a great leader and decided to support him wholeheartedly.

As the series progressed, Hayate grew to understand Luffy better and appreciate his unique way of thinking. He realized that Luffy's seemingly foolish actions were often driven by his strong sense of justice and desire to protect his friends. Hayate admired Luffy's unwavering belief in his dreams and his willingness to go to great lengths to achieve them.

Hayate became not just a first mate but also a loyal and dedicated friend to Luffy. He would go to great lengths to protect Luffy from any danger and support him in his quest to become the King of the Pirates. Hayate saw Luffy as a brother-figure and was always there to lend him a hand or offer him advice when needed.

Their relationship evolved into a captain and first mate dynamic, where Hayate would assist Luffy in making important decisions and carrying out his duties as a captain. Despite their differences and occasional clashes, their bond remained strong, and they developed a

Despite their different personalities, they share several traits such as being humble and does not brag about the powerful foes they defeated in the past and also generally refuse to fight someone that they don't personally consider an enemy. They prefer to either talk it over or run away from the confrontation. They're also very loyal to their crew-mates and other friends and can lose their temper quickly if they in harmed in any way. Hayate frequently wish leave the crew because he originally never intend to join Luffy in the first place with Luffy do anything his power to convince him not to leave. However He eventually give up leaving after received his first bounty after the Defeat of the Arlong Pirates.

When Hayate and Luffy first met on Woodward Island, Hayate was taken aback by Luffy's sudden appearance from a barrel. Luffy questioned Hayate about his reasons for being out at sea, but Hayate simply stated that he was a wanderer who had been roaming the seas for six years. In return, Hayate asked Luffy why he wanted to become the Pirate King. Hayate expressed disdain for Luffy's desire, considering it foolish and pointing out that many view the Pirate King as a ruler of the sea.

However, Luffy responded by explaining that his definition of being the Pirate King meant having the utmost freedom in the world, with no desire to rule over anything or anyone. Hayate argued that being a pirate would make Luffy a criminal, attracting the attention of law enforcement. He failed to see how becoming the Pirate King would grant Luffy the freedom he sought. Despite Hayate's skepticism, Luffy remained resolute in his determination to achieve his goal.

As Hayate decided to leave, Luffy asked for his name and invited him to join his crew, believing that their encounter was fate. Hayate was confused and initially refused, considering pirates to be criminals and wanting to avoid drawing any attention to himself. However, Luffy persisted, insisting that being a pirate was all about fun and adventure. In the end, Luffy forcibly convinced Hayate to join him on his journey, without even knowing Hayate's strength or what role he would have in the crew.

Throughout their journey together, Hayate questioned Luffy's motivations for becoming the Pirate King. However, every time he asked, Luffy responded with a smile, leaving Hayate bewildered but intrigued by his unwavering determination. This encounter marked the beginning of Hayate's reluctant but ultimately transformative journey as a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. As Hayate continued to accompany Luffy on their journey, he gradually earned the trust and respect of the crew, eventually becoming one of Luffy's most trusted advisers. Luffy recognized that Hayate compensated for his own shortcomings, particularly in terms of being stern and logical when reprimanding crew members or taking charge in Luffy's absence. Hayate would often act as a substitute captain, ensuring that the crew maintained their composure and reminding them of their responsibilities.

Luffy showed immense respect for Hayate's decisions and allowed him to take the lead in certain situations. For example, Luffy trusted Hayate to save Nene from the effects of her Devil Fruit power and prevented others from interfering when Hayate assured the crew that he had the situation under control. This demonstrated the deep level of trust and understanding between Luffy and Hayate.

Their bond went beyond the typical captain and first mate relationship, resembling the legendary partnership between Gol D. Roger and Date D. Marada as described by Rayleigh. This bond was evident when Hayate was injured by Drayden and began to insult him. Luffy, enraged by the disrespect shown towards Hayate, immediately retaliated and attacked Drayden in defense of his first mate. This act showcased the strong emotional connection and loyalty between Luffy and Hayate.

Throughout their journey, Luffy's influence on Hayate becomes evident. When Luffy takes bold and sometimes irrational actions, Hayate follows suit, mirroring his captain's behavior. This shared mindset brings them closer together as they continue their adventures at sea. Hayate's trust in Luffy grows immensely, to the point where he sees Luffy as a brother.

Their bond is so strong that they rarely separate from each other, always being by each other's side. This is particularly evident when they are separated from their crew. Together, they raid Impel Down to save their respective brothers from execution and participate in the Battle of Marineford. After the devastating loss of their brothers, both Hayate and Luffy fall into despair. However, Jinbe's reminder of their crew and the importance of their bond snaps them out of it. They realize that they still have each other and their crew to lean on.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Marineford, Hayate makes a solemn promise to Luffy that he will never lose anyone important to him ever again. This vow strengthens their bond even further, and Hayate resolves to become stronger for Luffy's sake. They train together on Rusukaina Island, pushing each other to their limits in pursuit of Luffy's dream to become the Pirate King.

Overall, Luffy's influence on Hayate's actions, their unwavering trust in each other, and their shared determination to protect their crew and achieve their dreams solidify their bond as brothers on their journey to become the strongest pirates in the world.

Chosuke[]

Chosuke and Hayate share similarities. They show level-headedness and tend to be reasonable, preferring to avoid dangerous situations. Hayate recognizes Nami's intelligence and resourcefulness, often seeking her advice or assistance when it comes to making important decisions. He values her opinions and trusts her judgment, knowing that she has the crew's best interests at heart.

Nami, on the other hand, cares deeply for Hayate and often acts as a voice of reason for him. She is not afraid to confront him when he is being reckless or impulsive, and she tries to keep him grounded and focused on their goals. Nami understands Hayate's loyalty and dedication to Luffy, and she appreciates his role as the first mate. She knows that she can rely on him in times of need and trusts him to protect the crew.

Their relationship is also marked by moments of vulnerability and support. Hayate has shown concern for Nami's well-being, especially when she has been in danger or faced emotional turmoil. In return, Nami has displayed a deep level of care and understanding for Hayate's struggles and has offered him comfort and encouragement when he needed it.

Overall, Hayate and Nami's relationship is a complex mix of annoyance, camaraderie, and genuine care. They may bicker and clash at times, but their bond as crewmates and friends is undeniable. They rely on each other's strengths and support each other through the ups and downs of their pirate adventures.

When they first met at Orange Town, Hayate was initially outrage that she would sell out Luffy but see that Nami was not willing to let Luffy or himself to be killed by Buggy. Due to her experience with Arlong, she held a very strong hatred for pirates, and that Hayate was no exception. However, seeing his kind-hearted nature, she realized he was not as bad then she has originally thought. Hayate realized Nami was a very good person at heart when she mentions that lost someone important to pirates.

Afterward, Hayate begins to trust Nami even when she seemly betray the crew Hayate. However, Hayate believes she didn't kill Usopp and correctly deduce that Nami was making it look like she kills Usopp. After learning about her pasts, Hayate couldn't stand seeing Arlong making her suffer. When Hayate meets up with her, He pats Nami's head that declared that he and others would end her suffering, Declaring that she was his friend and crew. After defeating Arlong, Nami began to develop a romantic feeling for Hayate and then fell in love with him. However, due to his shyness and distant nature, He pretends to obvious her feelings for him. Nami often doesn't want to admit her feelings to him to anyone and often act like a Tsundere in many occasion toward him.

Hayate, however, does show some attraction to Nami as such does take notice of her body at most times. Hayate had seen her naked twice such as where he accidentally saw her naked when she was taking a shower even made notice her old tattoo. It has been hinted that Nami did have some feeling for him prior toward Arlong Park Arc such blush when he got close to her or carry her much her embarrassment at first Nami refuse to believe she would fall in love with a pirate as she lost someone close to her to a Pirate. However, she eventually accepts the fact after Luffy and Hayate defeated Arlong while not admit it to anyone although, Hayate didn't show any interested or any romantic feeling for Nami from the first time they met Hayate did show some romantic feelings for Nami He has, multiple times, comforted and helped her through hard times,

Hayate has shown to dislike Nami ordering him around only listen to her when it comes to navigation or the danger ahead. Hayate cares for Nami well being. When Nami has fallen ill after getting infected by a disease Little Garden, Hayate became worried about and was seen sitting beside Nami when she was in bed. Hayate can also become extremely worried about her safety when she put herself in extreme danger and that he panics so much during the time at Ohon. Afterward, He slaps her for making him worried and Nami apologizes for making him worry.

At the most time, they often argue a lot at the time when she became worried about Hayate during the Straw Hat's confrontation against Logan where Logan was about attack Hayate and where Nami uses herself as a shield to cover Hayate to move her out of the way block it. Another time when during a confrontation with Drayden, Where Hayate has been lefts at the brink of death after fighting him, Nami was the first person to rush to his side shows that she does care for Hayate.

While they been separated from the rest of Straws Hat Pirates, she even cries for Hayate upon learning that Hayate's brother Lang died during the Submit War

Victor Magnes[]

Hayate's relationship with Magnes was similar to Luffy, as Magnes often acted rashly and extremely and lacked intelligence. Magnes would frequently pick fights with strong individuals, but Hayate would often advise him not to act rashly and avoid dangerous situations.

When Magnes was enraged by his own crew betraying him, Hayate reasoned with him and encouraged him to deeply reflect on his past mistakes. This led Magnes to enter a state of deep thought and realization that his anger stemmed not from feeling betrayed by his crew, but from his own personal flaws and failure to act as a proper captain.

Having accepted his weaknesses, Magnes resolved to become a better person. His humility also caused him to stop speaking in the third person and become more open-hearted towards others.

Usopp[]

Hayate treat Usopp very Fairly Usopp he has shown to understand Usopp trouble of his own cowardly nature Usopp was envious of Hayate was able to fight back and tremendous Fighting Skills and this particularly encourage him to try overcome his cowardly nature and show some respect to him as the First Mate

Usopp's actions during the conflict over the Merry showcased his strong emotional attachment to the ship. He couldn't bear the idea of abandoning the ship he loved, even if it meant risking their lives. This led to a heated argument with Luffy and Hayate, who insisted on prioritizing their own safety over the ship. In the heat of the moment, Hayate punched Usopp and admonished him for being overly prideful and stubborn. He reminded Usopp that their lives were more important than an inanimate object, emphasizing that the Merry was just a ship and had no chance of being saved.

This confrontation left Usopp feeling depressed and unworthy of facing Luffy and Hayate again. However, when Robin was taken by CP9, Usopp took on the disguise of "Sogeking" and inspired Luffy and Chopper with his awe-inspiring persona (though Hayate was aware of his true identity). Usopp's actions as Sogeking motivated Luffy and Hayate to rise up and confront Rob Lucci and Spector Lynch. He revealed himself in the midst of the battle and even challenged Lucci and Lynch to a fight. Luffy and Hayate managed to defeat them before he could harm Usopp. After the intense battle at Enies Lobby, the crew experienced a sense of unity and reconciliation. Although there were initial conflicts and disagreements, the crew members, including Usopp, learned to trust and support each other in times of need.

When Luffy was more than willing to let Usopp back into the crew but Hayate disagrees with this and points out that Usopp had still disrespected Luffy as captain and he would only accept Usopp back if he apologized. When the crew were leaving Water 7 Usopp thought they accept him back with open arms, but he saw them leave without him the Sniper broke down in tears and yelled his apology, Luffy (likewise crying) stretched himself to Usopp and well Hayate told him "grab on you stubborn fool" with Usopp part of the crew again. Luffy Hayate and the others were jubilant to have the cowardly Sniper back.

When Usopp heard that Ace Lang Drayden and Goldbeard had died and that they would meet again in two years, Usopp swore he'd become stronger for his captain and Hayate and trained relentlessly with Heracles for two years straight with Rokuren. After the time skip, Usopp was happy to see Hayate again.

Vinsmoke Sanji[]

Hayate gets along well with Sanji but practically gets annoyed by his womanizer nature. Sanji also shows jealousy when Nami, Yuri, and Mimi are attracted to Hayate and expresses jealousy of his popularity with girls. Hayate insists that Sanji should control his womanizer nature, and Hayate is extremely annoyed when Sanji refuses to help in the most perilous situations. However, Sanji shows sympathy for Hayate because Hayate keeps his own past hidden.

Sanji recently becomes more envious of Hayate after finding out that Hayate and Luffy landed on Amazon Lily, an island with only women, while he was sent to a place that he considered hell. This causes Hayate to wonder what Sanji has been through, especially when witnessing Sanji suffer a huge nosebleed. Hayate notes that Sanji's perverted nature is getting worse.

When Sanji mentions that he was originally from the North Blue, Hayate asks Sanji how he got into the East Blue from the North Blue. However, Hayate drops the topic after seeing Sanji's reaction and states that he is not the type to often meddle with people's pasts.

When Zoro notes that Sanji might get lovesick and possibly go through with the wedding, Hayate becomes worried. But when Hayate meets Sanji's fiancée, Pudding, he is shocked, along with the rest of the Straw Hats, that Sanji has rejected a woman. He is glad that Sanji remains loyal to the crew.

Hayate also understands Sanji on a personal level. When Sanji states that he doesn't have it within him to let his family die at Big Mom's hands, Hayate simply replies that he isn't cold-hearted enough to let anyone die, especially if they have caused him great grief. He agrees with Luffy to help Sanji save his family.

Ayasato Yuri[]

Hayate had an complex relationship with Yuri At first She initially dislike him due to his distant and cold nature and that he was pirate however when She told him about her father where Hayate knew her Father through his connection to Han and that her Father was a part of Han's crew She was surprised by this and soon began to get along with him.

She is shown to care for Hayate well-being where she hurries to treat Hayate injuries during the confrontation where Chopper or Nene wasn't around to help. She develops feeling for Hayate but like Nami she denies it to other and often acts like a tsundere on many occasion

On the other hand, Chopper also holds Hayate in high regard. He sees Hayate as a role model and someone he can learn from. Chopper respects Hayate's experience and knowledge and values his guidance and support.

Their mutual respect and admiration for each other strengthen their bond as crewmates, creating a positive and supportive dynamic within the Straw Hat crew.

Ron Tobi[]

Before Tobi actual personality was revealed he practically annoy by Tobi silly antic and stupidity and his easygoing nature Hayate, however, trust his planning skill and point out any flaw or something unusual happening in fact

Deimon Mimi[]

Mimi first met Hayate when she suddenly appeared in the bathroom naked. Hayate was unable to handle Mimi's simple-minded behavior and the fact that she didn't mind walking around naked. Initially, she only pretended to love Hayate so that she could escape her marriage suitors. However, eventually, Mimi did fall in love with Hayate. Unlike Nami, she is more open about her feelings and is rather childish when it comes to love.

Hayate does treat her fairly but often gets provoked by her actions on many occasions, such as inventing inventions that always end up malfunctioning. When Hayate eventually snaps at her, she runs away. Later, she consults with Nami and realizes that she hasn't been considerate of Hayate's feelings. As a result, she begins to distance herself a bit from Hayate and develops a calmer relationship with him. Hayate apologizes to Mimi for snapping at her, and she accepts his apology.

When Mimi learns more about his past, such as the fact that he is Roger's son and has suffered hardships because of it, she deeply cares for him and sympathizes with him. She even cries for Hayate when she learns how much he has been through during his childhood, especially when he lost his older brother in the Summit War of Marineford.

Nico Robin[]

Hayate somewhat had unusual feeling about Robin when she first join but He decide to give her a benefit of a doubt, Eventually he begins to trust and accept Robin even though she told him she just join the crew because she had nowhere else to go but however she became somewhat unable to see the idea would go to great length to save Nene where he told her that He doesn't want to see anyone suffer.

Robin becomes awestruck by his kindness and founded him very intriguing. When Hayate and Straw Hat crew came to rescue her at Enies Lobby he declare regardless whether or not she would leave the crew or not and whether or not she wants to die or live told no one had the right to say who is allowed to live or not allow telling that if she died then all of their effort on rescue her will be a waste. afterward, she soon became grateful to Hayate.
