Nene also known as Fox Girl is the Nurse of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is the fourteenth member of the crew and the fifteenth to join Luffy doing so during the Bodrem Arc, as well as being one of the youngest members on board along with Chosuke, Chopper and Rokuren.
Nene ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Fox that allows its user to transform into a fox-human hybrid or a full fox at will which she force to eat by Krystella one the Twelve Captains of the Lost Pirates. Nene was the former Princess of the Rulid Kingdom, where her home was invaded by the Lost Pirates led by Krystella was held hostage by her and was used as test subject for modifying drug by Krystella which greatly modified her Devil Fruit abilities causing her to become violently berserk if doesn't regularly eat curry which became her favorite food as a result.
Nene soon returns to her home country Rulid and saves it from the Lost Pirates rule over Rulid with the Help of the Straw Hat Pirates, she later forfeit title as the New Queen of her Kingdoms and pass it down to her younger twin sister Cece to continue her journey with the Straw Hats Pirates in order continue her parent's dream.
She first gain a bounty of 20,000,000 after the incident at Enies Lobby and it later increased to 70,000,000 after the Dressrosa Arc and currently has a bounty of 370,000,000 after the Raid of Onigashima
Appearance[]
Nene is a short petite girl with fair skin. As of her introduction, has orange-peach colored hair and purple eyes and tied into two tails by red ribbons. she wears a Lime dress and leather shoe and continues to wear them throughout the Sky Island Saga
In the Long Ring Land Arc she wears a sleeveless top and short pants during the Water 7 Arc she wore a long-sleeved top with two buttons in the center and an ascot around her neck. The top is adorned with a small pattern around the shoulders and a small trim around the upturned cuffs. She wears a frilled skirt with a small trim running around right above the end. She also wears thigh-high socks.
After The Timeskip has also grown taller (though she is still rather short at 160 cm), slim, curvaceous, and quite well-endowed with a pronounced hourglass figure she wore a dark kimono with a sash that partially revealed her cleavage.
Personality[]
Nene is a kind-hearted and gentle young girl who possesses a sweet and timid nature. She is known for her soft-spoken demeanor, bright and cheerful personality, and her polite manners. However, her innocence and naivety sometimes get the better of her, leading her to develop a unique habit of fainting when she becomes too excited. Despite her shyness towards strangers, Nene has a nurturing and caring disposition. Once she gets to know someone better, she gradually opens up and becomes more comfortable around them.
She genuinely cares for others and is always willing to lend a helping hand and assist them in any way she can. Nene's nurturing nature is exemplified by her willingness to support and aid those in need, as seen when she helped Chopper in treating others. She shows great empathy and compassion towards others, always looking out for their well-being and offering her assistance whenever possible. Additionally, Nene also has a deep fear of individuals with intimidating or frightening appearances. This fear makes it difficult for her to remain composed under pressure, often leading her to panic when confronted with unexpected or challenging situations. Nene doesn't enjoy fighting, preferring to avoid it as much as possible. If, however, it's for the sake of her crew or friends, Nene will fight without hesitation. Nene is very optimistic and idealistic, sometimes to the point of naivete and despite having seen the poor odds they faced She may be modest in receiving praise, yet her maturity and tenacious will shine through to inspire her friend and always caring about others feelings and well-being.
Nene Like Chopper will believe just about anything he hears, making her easy prey for Usopp's stories and his "Sogeking" disguise. she also believed Nami when she lied to Lola about being a man, even though the truth was very obvious. In fact, until Jinbe stated otherwise, she thought that the captain's duty was not to listen to anyone. Nene also believed the Impostor Straw Hat Pirates were the real Straw Hats despite them looking nothing like their real counterparts.
Nene's cute appearance often becomes a running gag as many individuals become enthralled with her solely based on her adorable looks. This recurring situation tends to leave her either happy or confused, depending on the person involved. After the Timeskip. Nene mature a lot although she is still gullible at times she is shown to remain calm in the tensest situation and has become more confident and brave as time goes on, and she always tries to be of help wherever she can.
Abillities and Powers[]
Nene was originally considered one of the weak members along with Chosuke Nami Usopp Chopper and Rokuren known as Weaklings Six. This lay largely in her lack of battle intuition and naiveté at the time, though it is shown that she has gotten much more capable after her two years of training in the Torino Kingdom.
As a princess and later queen of the Rulid Kingdom, Nene has a great deal of authority in her country. Before she renouce her privilage and pass it onto her sister Cece in order to continue her travel with the Straw Hat Pirates.
Physical Abillities[]
Nene does not possess any superhuman strength before she ate her Devil Fruit Nene also has extreme levels of superhuman endurance, able to withstand powerful attacks from CP9, and even when badly injured, she could force herself to transform into her demon beast form and ultimately survived the immense strain, despite her injuries and fatigue that left her unable to move.
Nene also had high levels of speed and agility. During the two years she spent in the Torino Kingdom, She underwent extensive intense physical training to further increase her natural physical strength.
Devil Fruit[]
Nene was force fed a Devil Fruit by one of the Krystella one of the Fleet Captains of Lost Pirate as a test subject for a special modified drug to enhance Zoan Devil Fruits powers where she has eaten the Inu Inu no Mi Model: Fox a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows her to transform into a fox and into a half-human/half-fox form.
After being force-fed eat the fruit and then was force taking the modifying drug, Nene initially struggled to control her newfound abilities. The combination of her inexperience as a new Devil Fruit user at the time and the powerful modifications caused her to transform into a monstrous beast and lose control. She would only be able to suppress the rampaging nature of her powers by consuming something she dislikes, which, in her case, is curry. This uncontrollable aspect of her Devil Fruit abilities made her similar to a Demon Beast-type Devil Fruit user, as noted by Hayate.
With time and the guidance of Hayate, Nene underwent rigorous training to gain mastery over her abilities. She learned how to transform into her human-hybrid and full hybrid forms, eventually becoming proficient in using them in combat. Through this training, she was able to keep the modifications caused by her Devil Fruit abilities from spiraling out of control. Nene's determination and resilience allowed her to overcome the initial challenges of her powers and become more adept at using them effectively.
Modification[]
After consuming the modifying drug provided by Krystella, Nene experienced a significant enhancement to her Devil Fruit abilities. She gained a range of new powers and transformations that were not typical for the Inu Inu no Mi Model: Fox. These modifications allowed her to generate twisters and breathe fire, as well as develop sharp claws capable of inflicting significant damage.
One of the unique transformations Nene acquired was the Half Demon-Fox form. In this form, her appearance differed greatly from a standard Zoan transformation. Her eyes turned red, fox-like ears sprouted from her head, and her claws took on a sharp, blade-like appearance. This form granted her increased strength and speed, making her more feral and monstrous in nature. It would trigger when she became overwhelmed, extremely angry, or during a full moon.
In addition to the Half Demon-Fox form, Nene also possessed a Full Demon-Fox transformation. This transformation resulted in a drastic change in her appearance, as she grew slightly taller and developed a yellowish furry appearance. Her strength and speed were further augmented in this form, and she became even more feral and monstrous. The Full Demon-Fox transformation would occur when Nene reached a state of extreme anger or when faced with overwhelming circumstances.
These modified abilities and transformations gave Nene a significant advantage in combat, allowing her to unleash devastating attacks and overcome formidable opponents. However, she had to be cautious not to lose control completely and maintain her focus to prevent her powers from becoming a danger to herself and those around her.

Aside from the transformation gain from the ingested drug she took from Krystella she also utilize the Rumble Ball made by Chopper to "distort the wavelengths" of the Devil Fruit's transformation, allowing her access to additional transformations. Like Chopper the effects last for three minutes
Medical Expertise[]
Nene has high level medical knowledge being the former Princess in the Rulid Kingdom known for it renown medicine and highly capable known doctors in the Kingdom where she assists Chopper treated Hayate injuries against Logan which results in her becoming the Nurse of the Straw Hat and become Chopper's assistant. Her medical skills and knowledge improved a lot when study under Chopper even more when she and Chopper spent in the Torino Kingdom, and her knowledge of pharmacology have vastly increased.
